Workshop Terms & Conditions

Aya Fiber Studio is dedicated to preserving an intimate, high-level learning environment rooted in preparation, craftsmanship, and mutual respect.

Our workshops require substantial advance planning. Instructors and students often travel from out of town. Materials are ordered specifically for each class. Enrollment is intentionally limited (typically 6–10 participants) to ensure meaningful one-on-one instruction and adequate workspace.

The policies below protect the integrity of each workshop, honor instructor commitments, and ensure continuity of programming for our community.

By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

REGISTRATION

All registrations must be completed online via:

www.ayafiberstudio.com
or
ayafiberstudio.corsizio.com

Workshops typically run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM unless otherwise specified.

Enrollment is first-come, first-served and limited to preserve instructional quality.

PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit (typically 20% of tuition or a minimum of $80) is required to reserve your space.

This deposit represents your commitment to attend and secures one of a limited number of seats.

Balance Due

The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the workshop start date.

Payment is considered late at 30 days prior.

Courtesy reminders are sent at approximately 60 days and 45 days before the workshop.

If we do not receive payment or written communication by 30 days prior, your seat may be released.

We do not retain credit card information on file. Balances must be submitted manually through the website or by contacting the studio.

Payment plans may be arranged upon request.

CLASS CONFIRMATION (“GO” STATUS)

Workshops with visiting instructors are marked PENDING until minimum enrollment is reached (typically 6 participants).

Once minimum enrollment is met:

• Written confirmation is sent to all registered students

• The workshop is officially confirmed as a “GO”

Students are strongly advised to wait for written confirmation before making non-refundable travel arrangements.

Suzanne Connors–led workshops typically proceed regardless of enrollment levels.
