The Aya Fiber Studio is Stuart, Florida's premier fiber art workshop destination and the working studio of Suzanne Connors.

Our intimate fiber workshops provide an excellent opportunity to learn new techniques and skills. With a small class size, you'll receive ample one-on-one attention from our experienced instructors.
In addition, we offer open studio days where you can practice your newly acquired skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to create in a fully furnished fiber studio located in South Florida!
**The studio is equipped with:**
Sewing machines
Sergers
Large cutting and work tables
Irons and ironing boards
Dress forms
A wet area with sinks
An outdoor dye area
Dye equipment
A drying rack and indoor lines
Silk and batik frames
Steamers
4-harness Leclerc floor looms
Tapestry looms
Marbling equipment
There is also an on-site reference library, computer, Silhouette, Cricut, and printer. Wi-Fi is available for use.

**OPEN STUDIO TIME**
Enjoy uninterrupted studio time at Aya Fiber Studio! Open Studio sessions are a great opportunity to work on your projects. Whether you need assistance with your current work, have indigo projects that require dyeing, or need access to a large table or dye kitchen, our space is available for you. If you've taken a class but need a little extra time to complete your projects, we’ve got you covered. Our staff will be present to assist you as needed. The drop-in fee is $40, which includes access to our dye kitchen, print tables, sewing area, and small equipment. Just bring your materials, or feel free to purchase some from us! (Materials are not included in the fee.)

Our Private Indigo Dye Workshops are a wonderful way to celebrate special occasions. This creative experience for a small group is perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, gatherings of friends/family, as well as workplace team bonding. They offer an easy opportunity to share the ideas and joys of sustainable living.
We currently offer Shibori Workshops
Dye two items we provide, bandana + tenugui (Japanese multi-purpose towel) and instruction in different techniques of shibori dyeing. Bring-in items are not allowed to the workshop.
$60 per person, Minimum 3 people.
Whether you already have basic skills that you would like to enhance, want to schedule something during your visit to South Florida, or wish to extend your existing class, I can help.
