Register
It's easy to register for our amazing Fiber Workshops and Events, Just don't wait too long!
Our workshops fill quickly, especially those being held during the winter season ( Nov- April) It is also advisable to secure lodging well in advance as waiting too long may make it difficult and more expensive.
All registrations are done online- we take all major Credit Cards and PayPal.
Most classes require a minimum of 6 participants to run.
For classes I teach myself, there is not a minimum, I will typically run the class with whomever is registered, but if nobody has registered within a week of the class, I may cancel.
I will notify everyone as soon as we reach the minimum registration for an event so that everyone can begin planning their trip, however, I may wait as late as 15 days before a class before canceling or rescheduling an event, so check class status before making travel plans or purchase travel insurance.
We have small classes. The studio boasts an impressive student-teacher ratio of about 9:1 Most classes are maxed at 10-12 students. Some classes may be fewer, I usually determine how much table space each student needs in able to work comfortably,
Once we reach the class limit, you can join the waitlist- just register for the class with the waitlist option.
New registration system (CORSIZIO)
I have recently added a new registration software to the website. If you click the All Workshop Descriptions and Registration Link in the Navigation header, you will be taken to a page with class descriptions and registration links. Corsizio is a self-serve software and once you have registered, you will receive a CODE within your confirmation email to log back into your registration, once there; you can make changes, transfer to a different class, or cancel your registration. You can also make payments of any denomination toward your class at any time. Just give me a call and I will enter your payment offline. This new system also updates the waitlist automatically if there are cancellations. I’m excited because it will also prevent registrants from circumventing the waitlist by paying in full if the system says the class is waitlisted. (Yes, people will do this!) The system will also send out automatic emails to remind you when fees are due, when they are past due and group memos confirming the class or from the instructor. It also prints out class lists and class certificates of completion when you have completed your class. I’m hoping it becomes something everyone finds very user-friendly and I welcome suggestions and comments about it.
Please make ONLY the class deposit when registering for your class. I will send an email out once the class makes enrollment confirming the class. Final payments are due 45 days prior to class and you will receive an email letting you know it is time to pay!
Supply Lists are posted on the website: https://www.ayafiberstudio.com/workshop-materials-links and I even have links for fabric purchases and prep instructions
