Welcome to the life of an Artist
I have never been very good at blogging! When I owned the Art Galleries, it was always my intention to blog. I followed the blogs of my favorite artists and everyday someone would ask me if I had a blog. I guess I thought that being a "Gallerina" was not blog material.
Boy was I wrong! a blog would have been the perfect place to share with the world all the struggles of owning a gallery, all the joys of owning a gallery and all the behind the scenes work of owning a gallery.
So now that I have embarked upon this new career as an artist, I have decided to share my journey. I used to write in a journal daily- My "morning pages". and this always made me feel good when I was finished. Well I am going to use this blog to share my creative work, share processes and talk about what went right and what went wrong. I will show pictures from studio days and I will show how some of the shibori techniques are done.
I will talk about creating an indigo vat, keep notes on how the vat is doing and what I need to do in order to maintain the vat. A healthy indigo vat needs to be maintained daily in order to stay alive and right now my vat is in need of some maintenance. Hoping this blog will help to keep me in line.
I am also going to blog about healthy lifestyles and what I am going to do in order to make myself healthier and happier!
So with regards to this last comment, I need to sign off and think about it!
